Y-3 Qasa

I have the retros and the blue QR...the black is underwhelming, those QRs however-I made the mistake of getting the retro boosts (i expected more to be honest and they're soon to be returned) and would much rather have that particular color way. Phenomenal price, great pickup, they'd be redundant in my wardrobe but I have an affinity for the QRs design.

dont worry you should be able to get similar deal later on. ln-cc deal was even better than these. I had to size up on these, they fit very snug. I wear 8 on qasa high, but go 8.5 on these.

LN-CC hurt the most. Missed out on the above and the Kyujo high, I was a day late and a dollar short but managed to get the blue primeknit QRs out of it.

Seller wants 210 shipped....no box, no extra laces, no dust bags. Is it me or is he asking too much? I'm new to y3 but that price seems too high
it really depends on size. Small sizes have been gone for a while now. If it is one of those, probably reasonable. but hey just use that money to buy other qasas in current or future seasons.

They're a size 10.5. Just seems a little high to me for being used and coming with nothing.

I've seen worse prices out there but on the particular website you're using there's a pair of 10.5 in that particular color way brand new with all accessories for $270 and the seller is accepting offers. I'd say that's a better avenue to take.

I'd pay $150 max $160 and wear the ish out of them knowing without the box and extras your're probably going to have a hard time getting more than that if you ever decide to sell them.

I think it's a fake pair. I've spent some time researching fake qasa highs (because I can't justify retail price, knowing how quickly the sole gets worn down. Maybe when the greys drop in price), and the heel leather doesn't seem to have double stitching. From the photos I can't see the middle neoprene stitching going all the way up either, which is a well known problem with many fake qasas.

Combined with no box or bags I'd stay the hell away.

I've seen this said time and time again but to be quite frank it's a poor litmus for legit checking qasas. The pair above is a real pair. Better indication is the overall shape of the shoe and it makes determining an authentic pair from a replica very difficult. In the pair above the tongue portion of the neoprene boot is tucked in, so it makes determing the double-stitch difficult.
View media item 2158228As you can see with the tongue tucked it creates the illusion that the stitch isn't there, although it is:
View media item 2158227The aforementioned pair is real, one thing I've noticed that the replica pairs don't get right is the leather for the toebox and eyestays, it's typically too textured and not as matte, on the ss16 Qasa black white the leather almost appears to confectionate-paper like, with an ashy film. It's a very nuanced characteristic that the reps can't quite match, at least not to my knowledge thus far.

Thanks for the info. I stayed away from them anyway

Fair enough, if I'm wrong I'm wrong. But shouldn't the leather on the back have two lines of stitching, the same way the toebox has? Because this pair doesn't, it has a singular line of stiching.

You're right there, there should be a parallel stitch on the heel and there is, its just that lighting in that pic is obscuring it. The stitching is very close to the edge so its hard to see. And nah you're not wrong, I just wouldn't go by the tongue stitch alone unless its obvious.

You're probably right, bad pictures though.

Haven't posted in a while but hoping to get some sizing advice on the reflective yohji boost. I'm :

US 7.5 ZG KNIT
US 8.5 Ultra boost

Any help ?
