I wouldnt consider Destiny a FPS. It's a MMOish in FPS perspective.

It's totally an FPS. It's FPS with MMO-ish elements.

FPS is too broad a category to confine to a single genre anymore. It doesn't really speak to the genre of the game at all.
I think when most people say FPS they really mean MultiPlayer Shooter
Fallout 3 was technically an FPS, but it was obviously really an RPG-lite.

On those grounds I don't think I would consider Destiny a MultiPlayer Shooter. Its technically an FPS in name only. The crucible was bunz as far as competitive MP shooters are concerned, and the overall emphasis seems to be squarely on the MMO/Adventure-Story aspects

Granted, Destiny has the 3rd person Citadel portion.

Exactly why I don't consider it FPS. All the leveling up and random weapons makes me not consider it a true FPS. My opinion tho, those who disagree aren't wrong. Just see it differently.

I'm having a problem with "snapping and un-snapping" the Game DVR app

since i don't have a kinect, i think the only way to record gameplay is through that DVR app

When i "un-snap" the game dvr after i start the recording, my controls get frozen out for approximately 30-40 seconds when i try to go "full-screen" back into my game

why is there confusion as to what an FPS (First Person Shooter) Is?

Does the vast majority of the game take place in the first person? Yes

Is the game, by nature, a shooting game? Yes

It's an FPS

Wolfenstein - FPS
Call of Duty - FPS
Metro - FPS
Assassins Creed - Not an FPS
Borderlands - FPS
Destiny - FPS
Forza 5 - Not an FPS

I feel like Tony Stark walking in the spot saying "xbox on" and having my X1, TV, and sound system come on
