Welp, that settles it then, will be trading in my 360/picking up the Madden Bundle and getting Destiny for free on the 9th...
Question to Xbox One owners before I google it...is there an XFINITY app on the One???
To add to your question derryj, those with the one that have their cable/satellite box set up through it can you still use your regular remote while the cable/satellite is set up through the one to watch television? And can you turn on your cable/satellite box and watch TV normally without having to turn on the one if the cable/satellite box is plugged into the one?

I got my answer, NO to Xfinity App on the ONE (which REALLY really sucks for me because with my Comcast Package( Local HD channels abc/fox/nbc/cbs. HBO HD and 25mg internet) I don't get ANY basic cable channels)
and with the Xfinity App on 360, I dont know if its a glitch or not but I can watch EVERY show onDemand.....the Strain on FX, Love/Hip Hop on VH1...like EVERYTHING but premium(starz, showtime)
Guess I'll be doing a lot of "downloading" to watch my shows.
I can answer one of your questions, you CAN NOT watch your cable/tv without having the ONE on if its plugged into the one......from my understanding lol
If anyone is still using they Kinect to talk or the Xbox issued headset. Polk is having a 50% off sale. You can grab the 4 Shot's I have for $80.
Cable? We're off that.. Buy a Fire TV and side load XBMC on it.
They area good weight, sturdy but not OD heavy, u a big dude like me so they should fit u fine. I would say grab them try them out and return them if you aren't feeling them.Hows the comfort and weight of those?
I have the Turtle Beach XO Seven and they're a bit heavy but at $80 I'm a bit willing to give them a shot.

excuse my ignorance...but XBMC is more so for downloaded stuff from your computer to view on TV instead of live programming right?
No sir. That was its original purpose, yes. But now you're able to install video add ons like 1Channel, Mashup, etc. which allows you open access to any movie or tv show ever, streaming at your fingertips for free. Its like a hot-box netflix but without netflix's limited library.
As far as live tv, Mashup offers live streams you can access for nearly every channel. But I usually just wait for like an hour after a show airs and then stream the hd version. But yes, you can stream live sports, all nil games, ufc, boxing matches, etc.

Is there a way to tell if a x1 controller is different? Mine sometimes shuts on and off for no reason. I was thinking if going to target, buying one, and switching them to return the broken one.
¿Si or no?

If you are feeling them throw the TB's on Craiglist for like $60. Quick sale.
Microsoft has been doing it to them for years, let them have something.

Exactly, it isn't really a big deal.IDK why but i was under the impression that ALL DLC was exclusive to PS4 until fall 2015...Playstation Exclusive rights to Destiny last a year. Sony set up a sweet deal with Bungie

Not random co-op missions here and there.
should have known the internet was vastly over exaggerating the DLC situation.
It's not but it also kinda is. Since this game is going to be about grinding in the letter levels and doing strike missions, having a strike be exclusive to one platform hurts other players. In the sense that I'm playing the same 5 strikes over and over, while they get 6.

Just to add to this answer a little bit, derryj3 is correct that the X1 must be active in order to watch TV once you have connected your cable through the X1. However, you CAN use your original cable remote to control all TV related functions just like normal
For example: I had my Comcast cable connected with my X!, but I still used my Comcast remote, and it still had full functionality with my Comcast DVR etc.
Hope that helps somewhat
Yeah but they eventually got it, this has us in the dark for a year. I mean I dont care 1 mission isn't going to make or break Destiny being playable.
