- Also up for promotion are Authors of Pain, Peyton Royce, Billie Kay, Hideo Itami and No Way Jose.
- Some or all of these could be part of the rumored second Superstar Shake-Up, which should happen soon. GMs Kurt Angle and Daniel Bryan were shown at TakeOver: Brooklyn III to set this up.
- Shelton Benjamin is back in the fold and should debut for SmackDown soon.
- The KFC spot with Shawn Michaels from SummerSlam was written for Ric Flair, who obviously couldn’t do it due to his ongoing hospitalization and health issues.
