NTWT WWE SURVIVOR SERIES PPV PREDICTION CONTEST
Tonight is not only the go home Raw for the Survivor Series this Sunday night, but tonight... RAW GOES COUNTRY!
So what we can expect tonight is instead of attempting to build what is supposed to be one of your bigger shows of the year, we'll instead get a bunch of terrible country comedy segments involving 3MB, Santino, and Great Khali. The Florida Georgia Line band will perform live.
Like I said, we're less than 7 days away from Suvivor Series. Let's take a look at the card....
Vince and Co. wanted to blame the poor Summerslam buyrate on Daniel Bryan. Well, what is their excuse going to be for Survivor Series because unless they shoot an out of this world angle tonight, this Sunday's PPV is going to BOMB. I don't know anyone that is excited for Orton v Show. Cena beat Del Rio clean last month coming off a serious injury. Now Cena is healthy and the two are not even having a stipulation match. And Punk and Bryan vs The Wyatts not named Bray isn't drawing any interest.
The card may be weak, but the scarier part is that there is ZERO undercard. I'm not talking about they just haven't announced the matches but we have a pretty good idea of what the card will be. I'm talking that there are literally no undercard programs that you can even project to matches at Survivor Series. If they do decide to do a traditional Survivor Series match, it will just be random guys thrown together with no real reason. WWE decided against a really fun 6 on 6 elimination match between Punk/Bryan/Usos/Rhodes Brothers vs The Shield and The Wyatts after the close of last week's Raw. If they had something better planned for these guys, it would be one thing, but they don't. Any match they put these guys in now will not be nearly as good or interesting as that 6 on 6 match. Plans could still change tonight and the match could be made, but it seems unlikely.
Mickie James has been at NXT all week as a guest trainer. No word on if she will return tonight, but with the country Raw gimmick, it seems like a natural fit.
- Short on time, didn't have time to calculate points yet, but the contest will be worth 1000 points.
- You may only enter once.
- Contest does not count the PPV Preshow Match.
- I'll update tomorrow.
