I haven't consistently watched Impact for awhile, and Eddie Edwards winning the title really kept me from going out my way to do so, but now that he's not champ, I'll start backtracking something episodes Edwards represents everything people who solely watch the WWE hate about the indies. Tons of flashy moves, no psychology, and has the personality of a paper plate. He needs to stay in a tag team.

The mainstream media and analysts have always been fascinated with his looks and athleticism. Rightfully so. We take for granted just what an amazing athlete he is. In all my readings the one constant has been that randy Orin is THE wwe wrestler every guy wants to wrestle @

However it's been largely the critics that have held him back and allowed him to be showered with praise. Granted, his lack of character and off camera antics hurt his cause, but I think he has a real shot at redemption these last five years of his career

So in conclusion he's attained the level of success he's had because of his contrasting criticism. He could have had more had he been accepted by both. He would have had less if he was an internet darling and mainstream didn't like him a la Curtis axel

I just can't, some guys can reinvent themselves but I see him and just think of the real world guy.

1000% agree..He still comes across as a guy who is trying to convince people he's a wrestler/tough guy and it's just not believable..

I'll give him credit for his tremendous work ethic..Dude wanted to be a wrestler and he scratched and clawed til he realized his dream..And that's to be commended..But he will never be looked at by me as a legit dude It as entertaining in the ring..Maybe if he changed up his moves and quit whining in his promos that help..

RAW was so muh better than Nitro by April 1997. Don't get how Nitro won in ratings til Summer of 98. Only thing more Puzzling is Ahmed Johnson in a featured role :x
