Kidman only did 2 good things in his life:

- WCW theme

- Smashed Torrie Wilson
He also beat his addiction to hard drugs and had a series of wins against the Immortal Hulk Hogan. His SSP was okay at best, but don't sell the man short.
I popped when that loser Ryder had his title quickly removed by none other than The Miz (greatest intercontinental champwin of modern times)
There's a totally legit argument to be made for this. The IC Championship has always had a soft spot in my heart---maybe it's because I like saying the word "Intercontinental." Either way, Miz has done an outstanding job promoting the prestige of the title that has cemented so many careers in the sport.

When he's inducted--and he will be--he'll probably go down as the modern face of the championship.

As for Top Whatever lists of our lifetimes, as long as Austin, Rock, Flair and Hogan are somewhere in your Top 10 I don't really see where there's an argument. A debate, sure...but no argument...the remaining 6 slots are up to the ranker.

that how you know a belt has become trash, when Miz is talked about as greatest to hold that title.

Intercontinental Championship will NEVER be as prestigious as it was in the late 80s/early 90s.

Ever? Nope...but quick, name me a more prominent IC champ in the last 10-15 years.

Miz isn't a destination for the title, he's a starting point...a credible champion who takes pride in his reign and gives the belt a platform makes a championship desirable and inspires more young athletes to pursue it. I'm excited to see the crop of competitors that will vie for the title in years to come since its recent renaissance.

Jericho.

Hmm, in my mind most of Jericho's IC runs came in 99-2000, which is 16 years ago. Besides, his main claim to fame is his triumph as the first Undisputed Champion in the history of the sport, it feels redundant to discuss his merits as an IC champ.

I think that speaks more to the weakness of the booking of the title than to the greatest of the miz

Besides his last two reigns none of that **** was memorable. Might as well mention Ziggler right next to him then

So many signs cause people identified with actual characters and personalities that have you something to work with. You could probably count every sign in these current crowds

People connecting with Austin's character is yet another reason SCSA>>>Rock..Rock's charisma was better than Austin, but he didn't connect with the fans on the same level as Steven..

I'd go so far as to say that nobody in wrestling history has connected with the fans like Austin..Nit even Hogan..

Ehhhhh Rock and Austin had crowd responses that rivaled one another. You can pretty much flip flop between them. But I will say that the fans have never turned on Austin. Even when Austin initially turned heel, the fans never really wanted to boo him
