So the reason Dolph didn't win was because of a damn movie? Wrestling has became a damn charade man.

So you want a heel champion promoting your movie? Makes sense.

Just any movie the Marine 4

What is their to promote when it goes straight to Netflix?

Listening to the LAW. What happened during the TNA Tapings that made them say that they were biting from ECW?

So there are reports out there stating that Cena is not going to be on Raw tonight because he is filming some movie called Trainwreck. It also mentions that he will miss the August 4th show as well....

Very interesting that WWE would let him miss what is probably the most important Raw before SummerSlam...

Soft? It's tasteless. Talk greasy if you want to. Many shared the same opinion last night online. The Vladimir Putin gimmick to draw heat wore out its welcome. At least the Real Americans xenophobia was creative. This is just the same drivel week after week.

it's not tasteless. It's wrestling for the love of god, the last place where there should be a need to be politically correct.

taz tommy dreamer and bully ray started the show saying they felt TNA was turning corner hyping up the new york crowd.

if you listen to the iwc TNA can do no right, Impact was pretty good and didn't feel like ecw at all

WWE issues statement on Lana promo at Battleground 2014[

During last night's (July 20, 2014) WWE Battleground pay-per-view (PPV) at the Tampa Bay Times Forum in Tampa, Florida, Lana cut a promo that seemed to indirectly reference the recent Malaysia Airlines tragedy when she shamed the American crowd for blaming Russia for "recent current world events".

Not even 12 hours later, and WWE was taking major heat for these remarks from the U.S. media.

In response, the company has released a statement:

"Last night's segment during WWE's Battleground event was in no way referring to the Malaysia Airlines tragedy. The storyline with characters Rusev and Lana has been a part of WWE programming for more than 3 months. WWE apologizes to anyone who misunderstood last night's segment and was offended."
Our friend Iain Kidd nailed this one:

@cagesideseats WWE will be loving it. They didn't reference any specific incident, but they have everyone talking. Perfect situation.

A simple "hey, we're sorry, but that's totally not what we were talking about" should work just fine, even if that is, in fact, exactly what they were talking about. Because there's no way to prove it was, there isn't much else anyone can say on the matter.

hold up that's not a joke? Cena really isn't going to be at arguably the biggest raw for building the summerslam card?

The possibility of The Undertaker and Sting facing off in a “dream match” appears slim as word is that Taker may have already wrestled his last match.

Undertaker has been telling those close to him that although he doesn’t completely rule out wrestling again, he does not expect to.

“The last we had heard, which was, I don’t know what a month or two ago, it feels like a bit over a month ago, Undertaker was saying that he did not expect to ever wrestle again, but he didn’t rule it out 100%, he just didn’t expect it,” Dave Meltzer said recently on Wrestling Observer Radio.

It was reported in June that The Undertaker was in bad shape after suffering multiple injuries in his WrestleMania XXX match with Brock Lesnar. Although he has been training in the gym, the possibility of a match next year at WrestleMania 31 in Santa Clara, California was “not looking good.”
