Wrestling Thread Feb 16-22 | 2/17 ECW on Sci-Fi (pg 17) - Christian/Finlay vs Swagger/Henry

John Cena says steroid users should be sent to jail.

Former WWE World Hvt. champion John Cena is adamant that he is a clean wrestler who doesn't use steroids and works harder than anyone else in the gym to maintain his physique.

Related to last week's revelation that over 100 professional baseball players failed steroid tests in the past few years, Cena says he has very strong opinions about the fate of the violators.

"They should send the guys to jail," Cena said in an interview with Jim Moore of the Seattle Post-Intelligencer prior to Sunday's No Way Out PPV. "I'm not only a guy who will say I'm clean, but I'll beat my chest to the world that I'm clean."

Cena says he's getting married by the end of the year and wants to be a strong leader and role model when prominent celebrities and potential role models are slipping in front of the general public's watchful eye.

"I don't know when it happened, but nowadays it seems like nobody cares," Cena said about the lack of role models in society. "Our main figures are collapsing around us. People don't seem to know that other people are watching them."

If Cena can't be a role model to wrestling fans, he hopes he can spread his reach to the general public through his developmental as an action star. He hopes to fill a void in the movie industry for the next big action star.

"That's a giant void in cinema," Cena said. "Everywhere I go, the question is always: 'Who's the next guy?' I think I'm damn near the closest thing to come around the pike."

This guy is such a hypocrite. He's roided as hell.

I really hope the WWE does something completely out of the ordinary and finally gives Edge an extended run as champ. It seems like HGH and Cena are the onlyones who can spend more than 2 PPV's as champ (excluding Orton's last run)

what up fellas This RAW tonight should be intresting I want to see if Orton/Edge or Orton/HHH is the plan. Orton/HHH sounds better with Orton going over cleanto just keep his Top Echelon level.

It is also being rumored that during the program, WWE is going to aknowledge Triple H's marriage with Stephanie.

On a side note, Orton is expected to start a feud either with Cena or CM Punk after his program with Triple H ends.

John Cena is scheduled to appear at SmackDown this week, obviously the visit has something to do with the World Heavyweight belt.

Ric Flair is not backstage at RAW today. That's not to say he couldn't arrive later in the day but as of right now, he's not there.

Christian was backstage at No Way Out and is backstage at RAW today for the ECW tapings tonight.

. Trying to clear his/WWE image and name.

Why Lita was at a RAW/ECW house show last week.

- We have received numerous emails about Amy "Lita" Dumas being at the WWE Raw/ECW house show at the Staples Center in Los Angeles over the weekend. Lita was at the show because she is in a relationship with CM Punk. While we normally try to shy away from posting tidbits such as this, I wanted to dispel any rumors that a return was in the works. A return could always happen but that is not why she was at Friday's house show.

That's the thing though...

If it is HHH vs. Orton, I'm afraid Randy won't be going over at Wrestlemania.

This bum HHH hasn't won a WM match in 6 years (WM XIX) and has lost in his last FOUR consecutive world title matches at WM...I mean, we all thought forsure he was winning at last year's, but I think there's no way he goes this year without winning there...Edge will probably drop the title at WM (whata surprise that would be

), but I see HHH retaining...

Randy NEEDS to get put over at WM, he has it all working for him right now and could join an elite company of wrestlers as long as he's pushed the rightway. IMO, it would be a big mistake for WWE to not do it...

I feel that absolutely nothing is gained by Cena beating Orton in the main event. Cena has already won the main event and is already a superstar. If the E allowed Cena to beat Orton, the wave of momentum he's been riding, all of his improvements (in and out of the ring, on the mic), and all of the focus on him as possibly another superstar and household name will be for nothing. I don't care how he does it. I don't care if Legacy, Stephanie, or both interfere...I just know that it is imperative for Orton to win. For a heel to beat the ultimate face, Cena, at Wrestlemania where the faces usually always win in the main event would be incredible.

I know many of you don't like Triple, but I'm kinda impressed. But He needs to lose at WM this year. Orton needs to have the title untilSummerSlam IMO to really build his character and stature up. I would love to see him and HBK in a match for the title with Shawn going over. I wonder if He canstill go 60 minutes

He's not going to wrestle again...

Dark match result from tonight's RAW.

Prior to tonight's Raw taping in Spokane Arena in Spokane, Washington, Dolph Ziggler beat DJ Gabriel in a dark match.
