Wrestling Thread April-September 2018 RIP

Why he gotta be a yakuza though? Cause he’s Asian? :rolleyes There is nothing I’ve seen from him that would insinuate he’s part of a yakuza

These kicks are patented yakuza motions b. Werent you at WM?

I actually was wearying when WWE put the mic to Nakamura for the first time explaining what he did to Styles.. but that was the best explanation to give.. :rollin

before the match maybe (because some fans like the build up, but as for me i don't need the tag match miscues, leading to 2 promo fights before the first match), but after the match definitely not wasted, because there was no resolution, actually a good build to a 3 way that i don't really want
But why wouldn't we be looking at how a match is being used BEFORE the match happens.

Sure, you can look at AFTER the match as say, "Oh ok, I see what they are doing now......" but that first opportunity to put two dudes in the ring like that has to be treated as something sacred. It has to be.

The lack of long term vision by WWE made them use it ASAP.

Daniel Bryan has been back 2 weeks man, and he is wrestling AJ already? Come on now.

Also, this speaks to a bigger issue with WWE. The fans have grown accustomed to hot shot booking.

There is no value in letting things have a slow burn with this company.

Example, I bet we see Charlotte/Asuka vs. Rousey before this year ends. Why? Because WWE is always in a hurry.

Just let stuff play out.

Daniel Bryan vs. AJ is a DREAM matchup. A DREAM matchup. And we get it on SMACKDOWN? Smackdown.
