Wrestling Thread April-September 2018 RIP

I hate the "he's so good that he can lose everything" logic. Now it may be true, but it's so dumb. If anything someone that excels at everything should be pushed to the top of the card, not used as a midcard heat magnet. Making others look great is something everyone should do, not be used as a reason to be pushed down the card. Imagine if during the Attitude Era they said "You know what, The Rock is so charismatic that he doesn't need to win anything. We'll have him look like a geek in every feud he's in, but he'll always be over." I'm not trying to compare KO to the Rock, but just saying what if they did that for every charismatic wrestler
I see what you are trying to say but The Rock wouldn't be a good example since his workrate wasn't to the level of those that are deemed, "A Good Hand." (Ownes, Ziggler)

If KO was simply a, "Charasmatic Dude, I could see the comparison. But to be frank, he is a fat dude, that is funny, that can wrestle well. That might be how Vince views him.

Maybe he should get in shape, seriously. It is probably holding him back.

We see one side of it but body matters.

That isn't to say ALL fat dudes aren't Vince's good graces, but he has a unique package of skills that "justifies" being in that "Good Hand" position.

Would that make him SMARTER though?

Does anyone want to be the new dolph?

IMO if im in that position, if feel under utilized yes it would be smarter to go else where and at least has creative freedom.

But we dont know what goes on backstage how he really feels about his position with the company. All the "documentaries" or interviews leads me to believe he isn't.

At the end of the day IT will come down to money Dolph could of been left but the money they throw at him why would he leave.

Who is to say he would be booked any better in NJPW?

And being Dolph, to many, is more attractive than being a mid-carder, or a non-elite level wrestler in a Foreign Country 14 hours away from your family.

It isn't that simple.

Happy Saturday y'all

DCAllAfrican DCAllAfrican , I’m gonna start recording some of these matches. Just had a Tanahashi vs Zeus match where Tanahashi missed two of his high fly flow combos in a row (high fly flow to face down opponent -> roll over-> high fly flow and high fly flow crossbody-> high fly flow), leading to his loss about 1 minute later
