Wrestling Thread April-September 2018 RIP

ALL IN was a successful show

i couldnt believe the amount of people that stayed for the guys speeches after the show, i wish i could give a number of people i saw leave but there was confetti everywhere and just the surroundings i had a great time last night, number 2 on my list of best shows ive ever attended

If you actually remember the posts, it was nearly backhanded props and a laundry list of WWE excuses, from you and the WWE Force
From me? I enjoyed the show. Decided to go out of my way and meet up with @dcallamerican to watch IT. Recognized that IT was fun and a great accomplishment for those involved.

I apologize if I didn't write an essay slobbering over IT like your God, David Meltzer probably has.

The #MinorLeaguerComplex you dudes have is real.

Someone brought up how they enjoyed IT much more than a WWE show, and then @dman14 and I, and I think Case Case too basically just pointed out how they aren't really comparable.

Don't really see why folks would get sensitive about anyone saying that.

Exactly why would a pretty solid one-off indie show that may get a second one in the near future even need to get compared with a major company that’s been doing anywhere from 12-16 PPVs a month since ‘97? Sounds to me like the WWE Strike Force felt the need to immediately make excuses to why that company can rarely even reach “pretty solid” status, even though the 7 hours of tv a week and monthly PPVs give them ample opportunity to do so.

None of us did the initial comparison. I can't answer that one for you.

In my opinion, ALL-IN would be comparable to one of the WWE house shows at the Garden. Storylines don't really matter, and they go out and just have fun matches.

Greatest Royal Rumble and this SuperShow in Australia would also be more comparable.

I was thinking while watching All In that it reminded me of One Night Stand..

Seems like them #majorleagueminorleague jokes get taken to heart when they're coming from the other direction
