While there at it a auto refresh, it's sucks to refresh the page every time there a new post and then have to scroll all the way down.

Use the Alert Bar.

It automatically updates with new/unread posts for any thread, and when you click on it, it takes you directly to them.

To turn it on:

Go to your profile > Edit Account Details > scroll down to Show Alert Bar > select Always.

Once you do that, the Alert Bar will pop up at the bottom right corner of showing you if there are any new/unread posts in a thread.

I've been using it for a minute and it clutch for threads that really jump pages quickly.
