Wow..they're trying to keep us here

You ever had your apartment complex try and force you to stay there? They're suppose to fax certain information and you gotta give them a notice two monthsin advance to let them know you're moving and they keep saying they didn't get it

How do you fax something out 5 times supposedly and the new placedoesn't get it then we give you the notice then you say we never did

We had to send the notice certified mail to them just so they couldn't lie. Thelook on the lady's face was

when we did that. They're eventrying to keep our deposit over some nonsense

Why are apartments so sheisty?

The last joint we were in the landlord ran out on the rent and someonetried to steal my sister's identity smh.

That's all you can do. You ever read a lease agreement? There is NOTHING in it that protects you and everything possible that protects the owner. Getting burned by rental agreements/rental companies is just one of the thousands of ways in which it costs more to be poor. (Not saying renting meansyou're poor, but if you are poor you probably rent.)

Lol. The owners of my apartment building would beTHRILLED if we left.

My family has been there for a long time and its rentstabilized so we only pay $700/Month and the people coming in to rent out the same exact apartment this year are paying $1700/Month !

Yup! My cousin in New York is like that. He is paying an insanely low amount because he's been there so long. But why is that exactly? That's what Inever understood.

Where are you living? ? ? If you had the time and money...lawsuits can be handled...seriously

I live in an apartment with my girl and we were trying to find this other place but they had so many rukes to live by that we didn;t take it...it's calledentrapment btw.
