Sitting at the bar getting lunch, drink, whatever. I don't see a problem. But getting a table by yourself seems kind of sad

Its rather nice to go alone sit in a nice place. Such as panera alone gives you good time to think and get away.

Yeah during football season I didn't have a TV so I would just walk down the street to the closest bar and just post up and watch a game or two and drink.
Also when I would be between school and work I would go somewhere and sit down and have a meal alone, it's kind of relaxing just to hang out and relax.
