***WOMEN'S HOOPS THREAD*** CONGRATS, 38-0 S. Carolina! CONGRATS, NY LIBERTY!!

So what's the rule about how long NCAAW have to stay in school before going into the W?

Last time i checked they had to be 20 years old (that was a while ago ) International players had to be 19 . The WNBA average salary has to be less than 3 million a year . They can eat off NIL for a couple years of college or go overseas for a couple years after high school.

NIL doesn't disappear when they go pro it just stops being a farce and becomes a regular endorsement deal.

USA needs to take 3 on 3 seriously and put together a farm system of women and men.

I can see analysts coming down in K. Miller's style of play calling it not being conducive to winning basketball. It's going to come sooner or later and they wouldn't be wrong based on what we've seen. The argument then becomes, "Who should she pass the ball to?

Exciting player for sure but she will have some questions to answer.

As do all players.
As do all players.
As do all players.

She knew why she went to Rutgers. Wonder if she was recruited by the top schools?!

Incarnate Word Academy (St. Louis, Mo.) cemented its place in high school girls basketball history Saturday, winning its 139th straight game to break the national record for consecutive wins previously held by Central Plains (Claflin, Kan.).

The Red Knights knocked off Blue Valley North (Overland Park, Kan.) 68-51 as part of the Sophie Cunningham Classic in Columbia.

Incarnate Word Academy's win streak stretches nearly five years and includes five straight Class 6 state titles since a 46-44 loss to Rock Bridge (Columbia) on Feb. 8, 2020.

"Even though we don't focus on it (the streak) very much, I felt like for the entire program a weight was lifted off our shoulders," head coach Dan Rolfes said after the win. "I think our kids are use to playing with a lot of pressure, with state championship and tournament champ games. I think for this one, they felt pressure for our team but teams in the previous years.

"They didn't want to let the program down. They know this win was for every kid who has put on an Incarnate uniform."

Over the course of the streak, Incarnate Word Academy has outscored opponents 9,572-5,023.

Went over this a few months ago in this thread. Honestly her height is a main problem. Ask Aari.

But Kiyomi is just filthy with it. She just needs to get tips from some of the great ballhandlers like J Cross, Kyrie and (stay with me) Steve Nash. Because she's got the moves, but she's doing a lot of the moves and going nowhere because these college kids aren't quick enough to react. On the next level it may work much better depending on how much better she gets.

Like she's boomeranging it in a way. Wait a sec and she'll come right back to you.

But the handles are unmatched in today's game. And she's got a shot and can finish.

2 main problems are her height, and her advisors/team. She's signed to JB and I'd think is unique enough that she may get a sig, but anything related to her play is something she can work on and improve.

I just hope she stays on the court and her stupid advisors don't screw her over.

The real question is, can two Chennedy Carters exist at the same time in the league
