This is the problem with these awards.

There's literally no criteria. So MVP is Vanloo because her shoes are cool is literally just as valid as Collier for MVP because Maya Moore is proud of how she's doing. There's no criteria.

Name an individual award in any sport that has "criteria". There is always subjectivity. If you fed stats into a formula that told you who was the MVP, it would be boring as **** and there would be just as much or more outrage.

Doesn't mean I cant hate it

And even if they didn't have a formula, at least guidelines of what should and shouldn't enter in to the calculation. It's just as valid for someone to get votes on whether or not they tie up the tops of their jersey, or if they score 100 points in a game.

If there's no real criteria, the award literally has no real agreed upon meaning, by definition.
