Long time lurker, short time member with breaks in between. So I'm worried that I received a fake pair of these from Stock X. Mind you, I've purchased a few pairs from Stock X and never believed the stories I read about all the fakes that get through. But then today, I receive a pair of these 8s with some immediate eye opening tells (in my opinion) :

1. Box : Is this box (and black paper) what's being used for retros moving forward? I know they came back with Concord 11s, but haven't seen them since. Also, the box looks beat.
2. Box label : Font looks off. Also, going with Snakeskin 11 lows, I thought the font should be grey, not white. Lastly and most importantly, the colorway is listed as White/Varsity Red Blanc/Varsity Rouge INSTEAD of White/Varsity Red-Bright Concord.
3. Label inside sock liner : Seems blurry, not as fine as other pairs labels.
4. Sneaker itself : Loose stitching. Could be a GR thing, but it seems messy. Laces tied up sloppily, not neat and clean.

Am I missing something here? This feels off to me. Anyone get a pair in and can chime in with thoughts/comparisons? The box seems like a dead giveaway, and I can't imagine a legit pair getting packed into a fake box. How is Stock X with these types of claims?

Are they supposed to be the new pair or OGs? I don't think anyone here can really comment on the new pairs, but I would imagine they would come in the white box most women's premiums do.

Looks like the 2019 according to your receipt, I doubt anyone would sell a legit pair for under retail before they even come out. Also they probably don't have much to compare to for legitimacy since they haven't been officially released.

Yeah I just got my notification that I hit on a pair at my local Hibbetts. I still see these selling out in the big sizes while the smaller sizes slowly move until the end of the day then they probably will be completely gone.
