Why the hell has MTV & VH1 not made the jump to......

HD? With all the money they got. I got TBS and TNT and A&E, but no MTV or VH1 in HD. Just doesn't make sense to me. Anyone know the reasoning behindthis?

Yeah but it's not the main MTV channel. It's like MTV concert series or some *#$. I would like to watch Fantasy Factory in HD, LOL.

No MTV does have a HD channel that plays the same thing as the "regular" channel, you got DirecTv?

One possible reason is that a lot of the older shows/music videos it shows won't have been recorded in HD so there isn't much point in broadcasting inhd all the time. As said previously though, ther is an MTV HD channel.

Try switching to Cablevision? Cablevision has MTV VH1 and Comedy Central in HD.

VH1 has a HD channel as well, well at least they do on Directv. My question is why doesn't BET have a HD channel?

they do have channels that play the same thing. The channel with the concerts is MHD or Palladia they play music from CMT, VH1 and MTV, but
MTV and Vh1 both have HD channels.

MTV and VH1 are HD channels. The problem is that they are too cheap to PRODUCE shows in HD. You might have MTVHD, but the shows are not HD.
