Why do people like snow?

I like snow for the first day, when it looks nice and I can go sledding at my college :lol

I am a snowboarder though, I wish snow would stay up in the mountains... then again I'd rather have it snow that have freezing rain

Eff the snow bruh... Straight up...

got in an accident last night... And hydroplaned 180 degrees on the highway trying to go home...

I'm gonna say it again..

eff the snow... :| :|

I love the snow. Growing up around it and then moving away from it gives me a greater appreciation for the snow. I loved shoveling driveways as a kid. It was a great way to make some money. Plus it's a good exercise. Having no school because of snowdays :smokin

This

But having make up days

Looking for cold, but it never snows. Come to NC. Hardly snows here. That seasonal weather.

Seems to me like most people who like snow only do because of nostalgia from when they are kids, which basically means no one actually likes snow.

I'm out MD too, and snow definitely sucks. I think this is the 2nd time this winter its snowed, but still 2 times too much. And how does one like the cold, can't stand it. My soul belong in Africa though, so I guess my disdain for snow is logical.

that one blizzard MD had in 08 i was stranded at work (hotel) for a week, **** was cool until i had to drive home.  Drove no more than 30 mph on indian head, and still did a 360.  Thank God no one else was around when it happened

Dislike snow unless up in the slopes

I've been at the age where I gain 0 benefit when it snows for a few years now, but I'm still young enough that more than half my life was spent wishing for snow, so it's a love/hate thing.

NYC last winter was divine, never really snowed.
This winter, aside from post-Sandy snow, hasn't been bad either.

I got studded tires now. Doesn't bother me much at all. Nothing better than a cozy day inside while it's snowing outside.

It's the fact that people feel they have to do still do errands and things when it snows more than a good amount. Annoys me when so many people that don't have to go into work find it neccessary to go to the mall. Stay off the damn road and things would be a lot easier for everyone.

Driving is cool since I don't use many hills. Hopefully they're no crazy people out when I and my lady head home from our respective work places. Drive safe all.

Give drivers their space and take it easy.

I hate winter/snow with a PASSION. I live in the Chicagoland area so you know it's bad. Honestly I don't get why people here like snow/winter, **** is not fun when you're shoveling it or driving in it or spending a lot on gas because you're forced to crank up the heater which is a gas guzzler. I hate that crap.

I love snow until I have to shovel it or unfreeze the car windows, but we didn't get any snow this year :hat

I like snow because it's rare for it to snow here in ATL. When it does snow I make the best of it.

Swear to god, DC area airports are ******ed, Reagan in particular. My flight back from Chicago gets cancelled due to "weather" yet when I finally get there, the quote unquote "snowfall" is a joke to say the least. Chicagoland got the equivalent dusting and O'Hare cancelled nada. I swear the whole dc area freaks out as soon as a flurry is seen in the sky.

My cuz basement flooded out twice in three years when the snow melted. Unwanted renovations ftl.
