dey dont play defense. everyone knows that. the only ones really playing defense is camby and iverson at times. k-mart does not play big man defense he triesto play like a guard. We all know about Melo as well he has never played defense since he's been in the league. They give up 135 points to a horribleoffense really and played almost no D in dat Milwaukee comeback.

You guys are looking into statistics wayyy too much.
You don't look at stats when it comes to defense, it doesn't tell the entire story.
This is why I hate the Fantasy Sports era, people think they know what they are talking about b/c all they do is bring up numbers, when in fact they knowNOTHING about what their talking about.

Hollinger created some sort of rating that had Nick damn Fazekas the 4th best player in this yr;s draft, seriously. He even created some rating that hadCorey Brewer the worse athlete of the draft and most likely to bust, again seriously. All he does is create fuzzy math formulas backwards in order to purposelyarrive to a conclusion contradictory to what common sense generally tells you. You can create a formula or study to prove anything.

The Nuggets switch between man to man and a 2-3 zone. They don't shadow their man close enough opting instead to trail their opponent and hedge risk bytrying to end up in passing lanes by mistake. Yes, by mistake. The Nuggets have to force 15+ turnovers for this strategy to work. They try for steals andblocks, but they draw almost no charges.
The Marcus Camby DPOY award last year was a joke. At least 3 other players had better defensive years, but Camby had not yet been awarded the trophy despitebeing a well known first team all NBA defensive player.
If you think the Nuggets are a good defensive team you are plain crazy. I recommend a prescription of watching a Nuggets game rather than examining stats.

Well, if we weren't going off stats Im pretty sure I watch more Nuggets games than the post starter so Im more convinced by the fact that they dont playany D. Its hilarious when George Karl says we're trying to improve our D, and they come out and do the same thing everyday. That Chicago game was patheticthough

Wow...you DEFINITELY need to get league pass. The Nuggets play NO kinda Defense at all which is why i been telling people around my way that between the lastthree teams right now fighting for a playoff spot, Golden State, Houston and Denver, i believe Denver will not make it.
And YES, i know Golden State doesn't play good D either but their offense is soooooo much more high power that they can get away with it more so thanDenver.
