Who is your NBA Coach of the Year?

This is not even close IMO

Rick Adelman is the clear winner... 22 game winning streak? without an all star? byron scott has done a great job... but this one goes to adelman

rick

phil doesnt do jack just on his butt all day...phil doesnt deserve mention b/c of Kupchak. Kupchak is the gm of the year.

I'd give it to Byron Scott.

You could say that about every team. You certainly have to commend him for how the players blended in right away. No chemistry issues, and the best record in the NBA. Ubuntu.

Anyways, after saying that, I'd still give it to Phil Jackson. Going into the season with the whole Kobe situation, there was potential for disaster. And ultimately they are right near the top of the Western Conference. He's resurrected the Lakers in just a year of being there again.

The chemistry was because the team believed they were really good already and played with immense confidence. Nothing to do with Doc.

RICK ADELMAN. I bet the Maloofs feel stupid now. Not that Theus is bad. Musselman was a waste of a year though.

If the Lakers, Hornets or Rockets get #1 seed, give COY to Phil, Byron or Rick. Reason being is, none of these teams were supposed to win their own division, let alone the #1 spot out West.

If none of them get #1, give it to Doc Rivers.

Does Nate Mcmillan get no love? Did anyone think the Blazers would be where they are at right now? Don't tell me its all because of Roy.

They're 10th in the West.

It basically comes down to these two arguments:
Byron Scott created a offense that benefits everybody in that starting lineup especially Mo-Pete cause he would've been out the NBA if it wasn't forCP.
The Hornets were picked AT BEST to be a 7 seed in the West before the season starts and before yall haters come in and say that they could still finish 7th,they was also predicted to WIN 42 GAMES AT MOST/IF THAT by 99% of the modern world.

Rick Adelman was able to weather the storm without his FRANCHISE CENTER and at times without T-MAC.
He also orchestrated the 22 and counting winning streak.

Jon, man, come on. This is why I hate Steve Snapper Jones. He was pluggin Mo Cheecks when they were 6th in the west with the highest payroll in NBAhistory. I know you guys want to get awards and attention and all, but damn man. This is why I get on Blazer fans. I know you love your boys, but come on.

It's either Scott or Adelman today. But a lot can change in a month. Hell, the Suns or Mavs could still be number 1 and then who would we be picking forturning it around midseason?
