I recently just got NFL Network in HD, should be nice if they start airing some games. I also have TNT, Discovery, and the Golf channel (pretty worthless).

Y'all got anything rare?

All that direct tv has in HD.

local: cbs, nbc, cw, abc, koce, kcal, fox, fsn (coming soon)
the rest: espn, espn2, mojo, mtvhd, discovery theater, tnt

I just got an HDPVR and only about 20 channels are HD. I was also surprised to see that a lot of standard def programing is shown on HD channels. Afterspending so much on the box, I kinda expected more, but I guess more will become available soon.

i have had directv in hd since sept 06 when there were only like 8 channels now they have more but many of the good shows are still in SD.

I have Direct TV and their HD is phenomenal!

After spending the weekend with some relatives with Direct TV I have to agree with that.

I have Time Warner Digital and we get far less. But my Apartment Complex doesnt allow Direct TV dishes.

so i just copped an hdtv over thanksgiving weekend and now i need an hd box. i got Cablevision which i believe is one of the branches of time warner digitaland i was wondering if i have to pay extra to trade in the normal box for an hd compatible one. any help?

Some lame pack from ROGERS. National geo HD, HDNET, Showcase HD, and some other channels. free for a year, so its decent.

You have to trade in the box for a compatible one and will have to pay a little more for HD. I pay around $7 a box per month.

I have Comcast and I get a decent amount of channels: All the local ones, ESPN, ESPN 2, TNT, Home and Garden, etc.

My mistake.

We didnt send in our non hi-def box so thats why they charge us the fee.

Good luck

i have Time Warner but their HD gives me gray bars on the top and bottom of the screen (annoying) so i don't watch HD
