Keep in mind, these are ALL of the people that live in that area.

ALL...very concentarted area of hipsters.

I mean, there are actually people slacklining in the parks...'nough said.

- wear fitted tshirts, button ups, skinny jeans
- ride a fixed gear bicycle
- smoke Parliaments when I do smoke
- have had Pabst and did not hate it
- listen to indie bands and otherwise non-mainstream music
- loved 500 Days of Summer

But I:

- am also a huge fan of sports (basketball, football, and soccer)
- play sports (basketball)
- do not have the described "sense of entitlement" that hipsters supposedly have
- do not survive off a trust fund
- HATE those plastic neon sunglasses

Would I still qualify as a hipster?

According to this, excluding the parts I crossed out, I'm a hipster.

But not according to nearly any other reasons or explanations listed. I don't wear shades, never smoked a cig, will never get a tattoo (although I thinkthey're sexy), and certainly don't have a trust fund.
