My sister just moved out of Ft Worth kind of Keller area, lived in the Mansions at Timberland. I like that area a lot. Little Red Wasp or something like that in downtown was really good.
As for a Dallas Brazilian steakhouse, you have your regular Fogo De Chao and Texas De Brazil, but there's also Rafain and Blue Charcoal (both are on Groupon for super cheap too https://www.groupon.com/browse/dall...s,+TX&query=brazilian+steakhouse&locale=en_US . Blue Charcoal is the smallest of all of them, more an intimate setting and the host made the experience excellent, even fixed us some free Brazillian cocktails. You don't have to, but I'd make a reservation because it fills up fast, seems like that place probably seats less than 100.
As for them being bougie in Dallas, I never really felt that way, other than up in Addison area they are SUPER bougie.
You can also go to the House of Blues bar/restaurant even if there isn't a show going on. Club Medusa and Trees are 2 other downtown venues, but Medusa is a Latin nightclub if it's not a rap concert or something going on. Also check out the Bomb Factory and see if someone you like is playing there.
Grand Prairie has a Tassaud's Wax Museum and Ripley's Believe It Or Not, there's a Zoo and Aquarium, you can go into Thackerville, Ok to go to Winstar Casino which is the biggest one in the country (they claim the world) if you want to experience that and they have tons of restaurants all around. Not far from there in Pauls Valley, Ok (about 1 hr from Dallas) is the GW Zoo which has baby rescued animals you can hold and feed (Shaq bought a tiger from there last playoffs when TNT was here), and Arbuckle Wilderness is like a drive through safari style where you can feed the animals out of your car. All of the stuff I just mentioned is on Groupon though. Grapevine Mills mall by the airport for all the outlet stores. MK purses out there for crackhead prices if your shorty into those.
I'm not from Dallas, but I like to visit. I think you can find whatever you want to find to do there
