When mamba get his jersey retired, it will be #24 right?

I like the idea of the number 8 being the statue. I'm going to make a wild guess and say when he scored 81 and he's pointing.

24 to the rafters, but the number 8 will not be worn at all.

There's a reason why 8 hasn't been worn since. Both will definitely be retired in some way. I dont see him getting 2 separate jereys in the rafters though, I like the idea of the statue being 8 and the rafters having 24

Both shaq and kobe deserve a statue. Undoubtedly, it should be in the image of kobe throwing the lob to shaq against Portland. Symbolic for so many reasons.
