What kind of country do you have? I have Dwight Yoakam, George Strait, Garth Brooks, Brooks & Dunn, Johnny Cash, Waylon Jennings, Willie Nelson and a few others...

- Tical.

Do you listen to a lot of country Tical? I'm really mostly into underground rap, 90's hip-hop etc. and the country singers you listed I have beenlistening to a lot lately. I started getting into johnny cash and then some of my friends suggested the ones you listed and I really got into it. Are thereany other good older country singers that you know of, the only other one I can think of is hank williams sr.

pretty much the same ++$%. merle haggard and hank jr as well. Alan jackson is probably my favorite. i dont get down with most new country music though, sometoby keith and not much else. i enjoy the slower style and the sound of a lot of steel guitar

i saw garth in concert in LA earlier this year and no lie it was the best concert i have ever been to. better than all the hip hop shows i ever saw.

My music choices are pretty boring but I have a lot of podcasts:

Diggnation
iFanboy
iFanboy.com Comic Book Podcast
The Phileas Club
Tom vs. The Flash (formerly Tom vs. The JLA)
The Totally Rad Show
Wormwood: A Serialized Mystery

I also have The Alchemist on audiobook, the full audio version of Eddie Izzard: Dressed to Kill and the first episode of TheMiddleMan

I don't listen to very much more than what I listed there. Alan Jackson, Both Hank Williams, Randy Travis, and a song or two from a few random bands. Country was the first music I was exposed to when I was young because of my parents (They took me to a Garth Brooks show when I was 4 years old) and I'vejust rediscovered it within the past year or two. Like In Yo Nostril said, I don't listen to new country at all because it's basically just pop now.

- Tical.
