What's good with Nike Elite Basketbal Crew socks? (SOCKS FTW!)

yo let me know if your black dri fit socks fade, bc im thinking of buying some. also are those bred half cushion socks sort of fading/peeling? mine are.

No, none of my socks have faded.  I've had my black dri-fits for almost a year now, and they are all of still great quality.

My black and reds are still almost the same since i bought them.

I haven't seen regular dri-fits in stores for while, but they are on footlocker and finishline for 22 dollars with free shipping.

oh, i got those, but the tube fuzzed on me and my black pairs kinda faded... most comfty nike sock tho, doubled up theyre better than elties.

No no. The Eastbay link a couple posts back are close to elites but not as much cushioning. 3 pack for $16. I've got the blk w/grey swoosh and wht w/grey swoosh. Very good value compared to $14 for a pair of elites

phenom55 if you were referring to the hyperelite socks, they come shipped to stores in packs of six, like normal elites get shipped to stores.

probably very YMMV, but I just got back from a local Fred Meyer (Seattle, WA) and they are running a nice deal $12.99 for these 6 pack Nike Dri Fit. On top of that, their weekly ad had a Buy One Get 1/2 coupon off on all socks. I'm not sure if it's supposed to stack, but the cashier did a quick manual override for me without hassle.

2 x 6 pack Dri Fit Cushion = 25.95 - 6.50 = $19.45 before tax

I will say that this 6 pack does seem to be thinner in cushioning than a 3 pack 1/2 cushioning Dri Fits I bought recently, but 12 pairs for $20 was a deal I couldn't pass on

I hope this isnt off-topic, but i have seven pairs of elite socks, and im curious about the adidas team speed crews.

Is there much difference?  I've heard from some that the durability of the team speed's are better than the elites, and it's moisture-wicking is better too...
