To be honest, I don't think it matters...but I think it says a lot about who the person is...
I always felt it indicated some sort of... I don't know... mental fortitude to resist doing something that everyone around them was. I can't place my finger on it.

As a person who doesn't have a single tattoo while being surrounded by dudes and women with them, I can kind of see where you're coming from.
But everyone gets tattoos for different reasons. Some tattoos have sentimental value and aren't done for style/trends.
Only tattoos I have even thought about are gravestones of my loves ones along the inside of my left bicep, next to my heart.
So I don't think you can really read much into a person based on whether on not they have tattoos.

All of that. I really just like how I look without tattoos. Plus at 24, I feel like I'm pass that stage of being super motivated to get a tattoo.
I thought about getting one my freshmen/sophomore years in college (05/06), and that idea ran it's course pretty fast.
