That's all I can think of. I usually hit the greens, turkey (dark), ham, mac and cheese, and deviled eggs off top. I may try the dressing but it's always hit or miss...depending on the recipe.
Roasted Garlic Mashed Potatoes:
Ingredients
1 head of garlic (2 if you really like galic)
6-7 Large potatoes
olive or corn oil
Half and Half
Butter
Salt
btw...for those that don't know...
the larger one is a "head" of garlic the smaller pieces are "cloves" of garlic
Clean and rinse potatoes, then boil or bake them, your preference. These will take the longest so do it first. I prefer baking, but boiling them is faster.
Next, take head of garlic and chop off the the top part and expose the cloves. Place in a sheet of tinfoil (large enough to wrap it). Drizzle with olive oil (probably a tablespoon's worth) and a healthy pinch of salt. Fold over the tinfoil and cover. Place in toaster over or oven @ 350 degrees F for 20-30 minutes. **Leave in toaster oven at 200 to keep warm if you're still waiting for the potatoes to cook
Once potatoes are cooked, remove skin(if desired). Take garlic head and place on a chopping board. Careful of the hot oil. Remove cloves from the skin. They should be soft and tender and should pop out of the skin with ease. Combine Garlic cloves with potatoes and mash with potato masher. (If you don't have a potato masher, you can use a large fork and spoon, it will just take longer).
Add at least 1 stick of Butter (cut into pieces), half a cup of half & half (for creaminess), and salt to your liking.
