Should the NBA take care of players that were dropped/cut?
Wouldnt that be like being let go from a job?
1. Yes.
Should we start a gofundme for dude?
I don't think homie is proposing to his girl with jump rope pieces and having his kids sleep in the cold while he's Allen Iverson "broke" with millions in the bank.Just like someone commented on the picture... dude made $16 Million from NBA.
Makes you think, what's considered "broke" for former professional players and/or former celebrities.
Would be interesting to hear if any teams knew about his mental illness. Not saying they should be liable, but was he offered help or some consulting. I'm sure the team did some homework on him.
You're acting like people choose to be mentally ill. This guy probably had all kinds of help over the years from teammates, owners, agents, family and friends but blew it with each and everyone of em due to his illness, or because he was on drugs. Oh well I say.. not going to feel sorry for each and every former athlete that falls on hard times. What's next? Go fund me pages for Titus Young or Joseph Randle?
I think he tried to deny it for a while and it was after his playing career he started to acknowledge it
Probably a lot more complicated than asking people with mental disorders if they need help.
In a socialistic society, there should be no excuses about "help". Time for these guys to just owe up to their decisions. Poor decision making doesn‘t equate to mental disorders either. People always blaming someone.
More like discrimination termination if they knew he was mentally ill.

That's easy to say, maybe in his mind he's good. I mean he went to college, and got drafted. Maybe the same things that made him excel at basketball was his downfall in his personal life. Most people don't or can't admit they have mental illness. Nobody wants to be labeled "crazy"
1. Yes.
2. Where can I peep the video in your avatar?
