What Football player could retire and play in the NBA?

^fall back dudes name came up in the thread so he decided to drop some knowledge

He didn't "drop any knowledge".....it's widely known that Curry was a McDonald's All-American.

That doesn't translate into NBA success, or for Curry's sake even NCAA success

Actually he did. When I followed his high school career I

at people hyping him. He scored his points off layups and dunks. He was a terrible jump shooter in high school and it followed him at NorthCarolina. I remember his freshman or sophomore year he was 1-29 at 3-point attempts and this was like around the eighth game of the season at UNC. How he gotParade All American and McDonald's All American is beyond me.

ronald curry was all american in HS and started for NC.. he could have easily had a career in the nba right now

^ u just saying that to rile people up?

I think the consensus disagrees with you.

No he couldn't have.....matter of fact, he couldn't have even had a career in the ABA

I'm curious what are you basing this on?
The fact that he was a high school all American? Well that doesn't guarantee an NBA roster spot now does it?
The fact that he started for UNC? So did Serge Zwikker and he's not in the NBA

He couldn't shoot, but could defend well and was a decent passer.....basically a more athletic version of Eric Snow
