if no...lie...not because you want to, but because you're not trying to hurt feelings.

you can't tell the truth when the truth is gonna get somebody all emotionally hurt. Like, honestly, "I've been so busy and preoccupied recently,I haven't even had the time to think about it," should be an acceptable answer, but you know where that kind of honesty is gonna lead you.

it's simple:

If you miss her, say "I miss you too".

If you don't miss her at all, but like her, lie and say "I miss you too".

If you don't miss her and don't like her, say "ok", "thanks", or just don't say anything at all.
