i had an 07 legacy with abt 100k miles or so, head gasket was starting to go out . From what I understand majority of subies from the mid 2000s have that issue . However I did hear the Subes with turbo were a little more durable . Anyways sold the legacy copped the new XT forester , no ragrets! [emoji]128526[/emoji]head gaskets blow easily on these

I have 09 Sable (Taurus) that's been incredibly reliable the 3.5 years I've owned it. Only issue is the driver side heated seat went out, otherwise nothing but regular maintenance. You should be able to find one for well under 10k now.
(I have the old Ford Five Hundred body style, I cant speak on the newer Police car body style)
