She needed a laptop for school. Bought her a two in one laptop and tablet. Necklace with her birthstone in it. Might throw a few more small things in there.

Don't see the point of buying a laptop AND jewelry. That could be two different holidays worth of gifts

Organized a surprise birthday dinner for tomorrow night (her birthday is the 22nd). A bunch of her friends and siblings will be there. She has nooo clue too :smokin .

Gift wise, a pair of Nike sneakerboots, a massage gift card and we are likely gonna split costs for a vaca sometime early 2016.

I need yall's advice.

So I got my girl a Tiffany necklace, and I'm not sure when to give it to her. I originally planned for NYE, right when the clock strikes midnight.

Option 1.) Give it to her on Christmas Day, after all the other presents have been opened. "Oh look, there's one more left"
EDIT: forgot to mention, my girl loves Cliches and we'll be at her mom / bf's house for this, Option 2 would be at our house, probably just us and my brother.

Option 2.) Stick to my original plan of NYE, and that was going to be an extra present showing up under the tree after the clock hit midnight into 2016, "oh look babe, we missed a present"

I mean, I'm sort of winning in either situation, but which one do you think is gonna give it more of a surprise feel? 8o

Nothing, I give year round without there being a holiday or special occasion. Besides, her birthday is in January. Birthdays are the true holidays IMO. Xmas is only for the kids now, and we're starting to get them off it. Shouldn't take a holiday to give to those you care for.
 
We're both indebted students so she was happy but kinda pissed that I dropped $80 on her birthday gift. I know its not that much but given what I make part time it is a decent amount of my monthly earnings.

So I think I'm gonna go small for christmas. Probably make her like a basket of natural hair products.
