Let us know. I just did a blind Stagg Jr #13 vs. EC B519 over the weekend and the B519 won by a lot. Stagg Jr was again way too dull on taste and mouthfeel. Guess I'm just not a fan.

This brings up something I meant to ask you guys. I’ve heard there are some differences between batches of the ECBP. Is there a general consensus on which ones are (A/B/C) better?

Nothing crazy - been getting into bourbon the past year or so. My local shop just got a shipment of buffalo trace and I can see why people say it’s great for the price range. Smooth enough for me to sip neat and I don’t feel too bad using it to make a cocktail.

there is a local brewery by me called Funky Buddha. They recently made some hard seltzers. Flavors are interesting and tastes pretty good.

I've been there before. They had some pretty good beers and a nice little set up in the bar with the games.

Fellas, that ECBP batch A120 is the truth! Carries some heat with it but the flavors and mouthfeel are amazing! I put a small cube in it to open it up and MAN, it did not disappoint. Great bottle of Bourbon.

Any tequila drinkers?

good stuff. Currently on 1500.
Had an interview with a local tequila company (el Rey) for marketing. 7 shots before interview. Good stuff too. Learning how to sip not take shots

First “rule “
Don’t do blanco with tequila
IMO
Por que?

I’m not a huge tequila drinker.. but when I’m out and about and switching from beer I’ll do tequila on the rocks with lime (casamigos blanco is my go to)

I keep things pretty simple.. beer then run or scotch neat.. red wine occasionally

Good tequila is like good whiskey from my experience. I can def go for some Casa Noble Anejo or Clase Azul. I don’t know much about tequila but the good stuff I’ve had I like.

I’m trying think what the best tequila is I’ve had

I’ve had all of the casamigos except for the mezcal

Had one of the clase azul’s, can’t remember which one specifically

but I’m hesitant to even go to big on tequila’s since I’m not sure I’d fully appreciate it

Casamigos is good but not worth the price. Better tasting options in its price range worth the splurge with fortaliza, don julio and for half price altos, espolon.

Fortaliza resposado or anejo neat.
