so if they don't send you the item, you can use the buyer protection.  I'm buying from a NT user and I believe I use the send money function and pick purchase.  Am I protected and what should I do to keep a paper trail?

I see all these agreements on the buy/sell forum but do they really mean anything?

So, you find it prudent to come to NT to ask how to use Paypal, when Paypal has ALL the info you'd ever need?
I hope your mom catches you shipping fresh snaps to your house and spanks you.

The agreements mean nothing, worse that will happen is the scammer gets banned on here. But yes, you will be covered by buyer protection. Do NOT send as gift

.

OP

I thought ur moms didn't want you to buy things through the internet with "your" money..

You just wanted to just buy Snapbacks too right?..

With Paypal always make sure that the person that you are buying from is a Verified User.

yeah i told her i won some snaps from a youtube video.
anyways, the guy sending me snaps, should he send the snaps as a gift so I don't have to pay tariffs or would that not be smart? Can he say on paypal that he is selling me a hat but on the parcel, he marks it as a gift?

don't pay as a gift.

one thing i always do when i send a payment for something is in the subject and notes part, i put exactly what i'm paying for, the amount i'm paying and give a detailed description of it, in the case that anything goes wrong, paypal will see all that info.
