Just because a show aired in the last ten years doesn't mean it's lacking quality.. in fact, the rise of cable programming has allowed for better TV than in the 80s and 90s. For example, a list of all-time great shows does not need Happy Days, Knight Rider, Saved by the Bell, or Full House. Even ER is a stretch when you can compare it to The Wire or The Sopranos... or Married with Children compared with Arrested Development.
