40 plus comic book movies over the next 6 years between all the studios

Golden age of comic book movies or overkill?

40 is not an overkill. I won't be seeing the DC ones I dont care about (which is most of those rumored so far). Don't care about following the cinematic universe story. Since these superhero movies don't all make the same amount of money I would assume that's the case with everyone.

Golden age already started breh. Cap 2, DOFP, and Guardians all in one year. With ASM2 being the only hiccup.

Not related to this thread, I don't know the name of the other thread, but Deadpool has a 2016 release date

Please. Clown *** ***** out there tryna murder Children on multiple occasions for **** they have yet to do. Wiccan, Hope, reincarnated En Sabah Nur. And he somehow runs a school? Had he had his way in AvX there would be no mutants left with his Benedict Arnold ***. Not to mention he selectively chooses which characters he forgives for their destruction caused by the Phoenix Force. ***** thinks he should be the only one allowed to murder in all the world. He's a bad character and his fans should feel bad. The best thing about wolverine is how easy Magneto can tear him apart. That way his involvement in Magneto Story arcs are limited.

X-23 >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Wolverine.

Blotters had a point. Still mad that everyone in universe is hating Scott for what he did while possessed by the Phoenix while Jean Grey got a pass.

Wolverine calling Scott a murderer is the biggest hypocrite move I've seen.

And they can't even keep his healing factor consistent. Superman *** inconsistent lame *****. One comic he'll walk out of fire with his exoskeleton still intact and regenerate his body in seconds. In another comic he is regenerating from a single droplet of blood, yet another comic he is taking hours to regrow his body/limbs. That type of storytelling is Superman level WEAK! I only wish that this clown would stay dead.

Yea, the new spiderman cartoon is unwatchable.
Wholeheartedly disagree. I was just about to post just how good it is. It takes parts from the Ultimate universe, the Modern universe and the Marvel Cinematic universe. Basically, if you wanted to know what Spider-man would be like in the movies, here you have it. I mean a lot of the jokes shoot low for kids but the foundation is grounded heavily in the source material. It's pretty much the best Spider-Man cartoon ever produced. And I've seen all of the mid 90s Fox series at least a good for or five times. Plus, it doesn't hurt the Brian Michael Bendis is a consulting producer and even writes episodes from time to time. He's easily one of my favorite writers of the past 10 years.

Naw B, the 94 series is the best. Followed by Spectacular Spiderman.

That's nostalgia kicking in my man, trust me. It was better when we were kids. This Ultimate Spider-Man/Web Warriors show is like a love letter to the comics and is a great tool for getting kids into comics

Naw, that new spider man is just too over the top. It has its moments but for the most part it just teen titans with Spider-Man

Idk, unless we're talking about a different cartoon, the new Spiderman cartoon seems to try too hard to be funny and appeal to kids too much, with the whole Peter talking to the camera and a lot of the times the "funny" moments are cringe worthy.

What I do like is that he does have his own team. That's something that movies should borrow from the cartoon. Instead of Spidey being solo all the time, give him his own team in the movies. Coulson being the principal was a hoot too.

I stopped watching the cartoon early on but maybe it might've got better since. I'll keep a look out.

Since we're on the topic of cartoons, is anyone looking forward to Big Hero 6?

First collaboration between Marvel and Disney.

I don't know too much about the original comic, but I'm sure they changed a lot of things in the movie and disney-fied a lot of $%$

I'm very interested in it. I hear there might even be a Stan Lee cameo :lol

If this movie is successful, which it should be, I can see Marvel going the cartoon route more often. I have one other comic in mind: the group of kids who find out their family are supervillains (yes, I'm forgetting the name of the comic again)

Its not a collab. Beyond creating the comic Marvel had nothing to do with this. Disney just realized Marvel runs deep and made a cartoon out of the most obscure comic they could find.

Also it's The Runaways

This is nothing like the comics according to fans. If they are gonna do The Runaways Marvel Studios should do it. Prolly as a Netflix show

Nah it ain't nostalgia breh. It's still good. This new series is trying TOO hard to be funny. Or maybe it's just too kiddy for me. It's cool that it's taking cues from the many incarnations of spidey, but it's still lacking. Spectacular Spiderman was perfect. Don't know why they canceled that for this.

You're right, blotters. It's really more of a Disney movie that's happening to use Marvel characters than anything else.

I still think that if this movie is a hit this will set a precedent for Disney using Marvel characters. I don't know why, but I like the idea, as long as they stick to obscure characters that people really don't know.

That Harry Potter fanbase...

Only took 8 movies for them to get to that 7.7 billion *disgusted

Marvel should get the number one spot for a little while with the Avengers coming out

The article mentioned Harry Potter coming out with two sequels. They're really prequels and no one knows when those are going to release.

Oh wow. Nov 2016 O.o

Well Marvel will have released 155555295 movies by that point so it doesn't matter
