WELCOME TO THE MARVEL MULTIVERSE -*RIP STAN LEE & Boseman* - Up Next: Brave New World 02/14/25

I love what-if, because it's basically a no-fail concept that potential creates more nuanced stories. I would have never made the connection between the god of thunder and storm, but if you think about it- where are they channeling that power and how's it related? Marvel has so much opportunity to cook, but they wanna bring back RDJ as doom

I actually feel the opposite about What if...? They always play it a bit too safe for my liking. Then, it has to be somewhat connected to the MCU so people can get it. They haven't done enough to REALLY interesting, imo.

Exactly.. you’d think that would be the time for them to get wild with it and really try some stuff

But I feel like they’ve barely explored the space

what if disney just throws the bag at all the OGs that left and they come back as villain variants

evans comes back ad red skull
scarjo comes back as death after being killed at vormir

then turn others thats still there into a villain variant to do double duty

hemsworth as gorr
ruffalo as abomination
renner as bullseye

go full masters of evil

Thats what they greedy *** gets. I hope they're in the hole now with their Marvel properties. Should've sold it.

they make so much from the spidey films feige makes for them (+ spiderverse) that they can offset those box office bombs and other projects so they will never sell

venoms trilogy also made $1.8 billion ww so that ip still way too valuable for sony

without the marvel ip’s, their biggest hits the bad boys franchise which still made $70m less than Venom3 this year
