WELCOME TO THE MARVEL MULTIVERSE -*RIP STAN LEE & Boseman* - Up Next: Brave New World 02/14/25

I like both movies but for me

Thor 1>Thor 2

I have a feeling Thor 3 is going to take the same jump Cap 2 made.

I'll rewatch them to give them another opinion... but nothing about either Thor screamed "I HAVE to see this again".

I felt that with Iron Man, Avengers 1 and 2, GotG, Cap 2... but the Thors didn't do it for me.

Cage is popular.
They'll go with someone much more popular. Like actual A-list or on the rise.

Basically.

After seeing Thor I felt that similar to Cap1 they just did it to do it. It was their first time trying something like this that was building to a larger scale so it was kind of safe. Thor 2 was like, well the whole Avengers thing worked great but we really didn't have a plan for this sequel so here's what we came up with. If it wasn't for this craze over Loki and some ppl thinking he's some great villain both Thor movies would be extremely forgettable.

I still feel though had they fully committed to the concept of Vikings and the Asgardians they could've had their fantasy world(s) Lord of the Rings epics done the Marvel way. Part of the reason why I'm more disappointed in Thor2 than I am in IM3.

Co-sign. I loved the Dark World. Didn't really enjoy the first Thor though

co cosign

I'll give Thor 1 another chance since I am one of the few who doesnt like it as much. But last I watched nothing exciting happened between Thor being banished and him getting his powers back and the fight with the destroyers was lame.

1>2

Ultron kept getting whooped. Enemies in part 1 were better.
Still liked the movie though >D

Bruce Banner & Black Widow romance ruined the whole movie for me.

Made not a lick of sense. Lowkey want to know who would have even approved it.

Still remisicing about the movie though. Best ive seen all yCap
Cap slightly lifting the hammer was actually a nod to the comics. He's one of the few who has been able to lift it and actually use it.

Yep horrible. Also the whole hawkeye family crap was dumb.

Who did linda cardellini blow to get cast in avengers?

I actually liked the Hawkeye family part. It was a reprieve that kind of showed that he was just an everyday dude. In a 2.5 hour movie you can have stuff like that without being upset about it.

On the other hand, Hulk and Black Widow?  nah. shouldve never happened

Yeah, that grade school romance was dumb and should've been left out. They need to introduce She-Hulk, would watch her get down.

A2 > A1 but A1 set the tone

I enjoyed Hawkeye's family as well

I understand the Hulk / BW romance since they are both "monsters" but idk I felt like it could have been done better

Even though we saw it in previous trailers, Cap moving the Hammer was the scene of the movie

Um, Thor: Dark World is ridiculously awesome

Yeah. I just re-watched it and Winter Soldier yesterday, both were definitely improved sequels (Though the first films were also decent) Dark World in my opinion was better for the fact that it wasn't primarily set on Earth, and we got to see more of the Thor universe. Based on the title and the fact that he left at the end of Age of Ultron i'm assuming that Ragnarok will give us more of the same, again making it the film i'm looking forward to most right now.

Them Thor movies are slept on. Before them, I never cared much for the character but he's probably one of my favorite MCU characters now. Arrogant Thor is very humorous :lol

Whedon just loves to kill someone off. That's just his thing. This movie it happened to be Quick.

Quick almost survived. There was an alternate ending filmed where he survived the bullets and all.
