WELCOME TO THE MARVEL MULTIVERSE -*RIP STAN LEE & Boseman* - Up Next: Brave New World 02/14/25

When dude was looking for a hidden door and said "yay!" :lol

Everybody was dying at that part. My theatre had all Marvel geeks. It was a fun crowd.

The part before that "Guys lets talk." *shoots everyone* "Great talk." "NO IT WASN'T!" The no it wasn't got a good laugh in my theater. Also Ant-man went over well in my screening as well. that second trailer was a lot better

The trailers shown in my screening was Insidious 3, Dope (looks good) and Ant-man. I'm happy cause I was trying to watch Avengers.

Oddest thing at my theatre...

Zero..

I mean ZERO trailers shown.

Really odd,

Highlights for me:

Iron Man asking Black Widow and Hulk if they're playing hide the zucchini.

Sam Jackson had the best one when he said "Oohh, do you kiss your mother with that nouth" :lol

AoU seems to be tracking towards 215-220 mil. Which is great, but don't know if the hyper aggressive marketing warrants that number considering Avengers 1 did 207 on more conservative marketing.
'
They should've just let the Marvel name and the goodwill from the first movie do all the work

Saw it last night at the AMC Lincoln Square Theater at 11PM. Some goober was already sitting in my seat. I thanked him for keeping it warm for me.

They showed what seemed like 10 trailers. Star Wars and BatmanV.Superman got the biggest cheers, obviously.

Overall I really enjoyed AoU. Some reviews I read sound like they were expecting Shawshank Redemption instead of a movie filled with grown men in capes.

My only gripe is Ultron's somewhat comedic performance. Wish he was more dark and sinister.

8/10

I thought Tomorrowland trailer was pretty good, got me a bit curious about the film for sure. The home invasion trailer, right?

Plus Brad Bird hasn't disappointed me yet, from the Iron Giant to the Incredibles, from Ratatouille to Ghost Protocol.

Was at city walk

Did not get a Star Wars trailer got terminator and no one I mean no one clapped cheered but I heard a lot of omg( not in a good way) everyone went nuts for sup vs batman and ant man

Trailers
Ant man ( the train fight scene was hilarious)
S v B
Tommorowland
Pixel
Jurassic park
Terminator

Might be missing one but think those were the main ones

Man, that Terminator trailer got a :| reaction all around out of all the trailers

I probably wouldn't watch Terminator if someone paid me to

Intrigued by Tomorrowland

Of course interested in Star Wars

Jurassic Park I need to watch

They did not show an Ant Man trailer where I was at... which is kinda weird... You would think out of all the trailers to see at a Marvel movie... you would see a trailer fo a Marvle movie :lol

I'm here to talk about the movie and tall dudes talking about tomorrowland, Star Wars, and trailers

What were your favorite parts of the movie?

Was there a big connection to AOS and the movie? I know when Fury was saying he had people looking out for him, was he referencing Coulson's crew?

And no one knows that Coulson is alive right? lol

Off the top of my head, the tie-ins I remember are:

The SHIELD team save Deathlok and Lincoln from Baron Strucker and List's Hydra base as they want to experiment on those with powers. Strucker and List refer to The Twins a few times to assist in defending the base, but one of them feels that they aren't ready yet to fight.

Coulson locates Loki's scepter and provides the location of it to Maria Hill. There is some back and forth about "Theta Protocol" which hasn't been revealed to us I don't think and then Coulson states at the end of the last episode that it's time to call in the Avengers; I believe this leads right in to the first sequence of AOU.

Raina's powers start to reveal themselves and she is able to see the future and refers to men of metal that will tear apart cities and the world will be changed forever.

Coulson is not alive, Joss already confirmed he is dead in the marvel universe.

:lol Coulson is alive. That interview was clearly a joke by Whedon.

Lol. You know Joss was joking, right?
