Mid-End Credit scene descriptions for AntMan to those who can't wait or don't care (please spoiler when discussing, I tried my best to copy and paste this w/o reading :lol )

SPOILER

Mid

Hank Pym (Michael Douglas) gives the WASP costume with wings to Hope Van Dyne (Evangeline Lilly). Hank explains to Hope what happened to Hope's mother Janet Van Dyne.

Final credits scene:

This one leads into Captain America: Civil War.

The scene has Captain America, The Falcon, and The Winter Soldier. Cap and Falcon have located The Winter Soldier to a remote location where The Winter Soldier is tied up.

Falcon asks Cap "Should I call Stark?"

Cap replies "No."

Falcon replies "I know who to call." Implying Ant-Man.

Falcon is in the movie

What's so must see about that end credit scene. I mean I thought it was gonna be a little in your face...

Kinda sad for Ant Man that peeps are already more excited for the end credits than the movie LOL

Since I'm coming in with super low expectations, I wouldn't be surprised if I end up liking the movie. Seems to always work that way.

I was going to say the same thing, everyone will be so excited for the post credits thinking the movie is bad. But will be pleasantly surprised?

I cannot remember the after credit sequence for AoU

I'm literally in my seat trying to think and I'm drawing a blank

*edit

Never mind, I just remembered

So exactly why would Falcon imply Ant-Man of all ppl is the person he knows to call instead of Tony ******* Stark? :lol

Like does he mean Hank Pym? Besides how would Falcon know either one of them?

I can understand Cap saying no depending where they're at story wise with Cap not trusting Tony or perhaps knowing that Tony found out WS killed his parents.

The connection to CW I was expecting for Ant-Man was him to just be hiding among them for some reason most of them movie until he reveals himself. Maybe Fury asked for Ant-Man's special skills to help (I know it's reported Fury aint in CW but he can still be name dropped).

Paul Rudd is 46 years old. It makes sense, remember him from the Friends days, but dang if it didn't blow my mind when someone reminded me today.

He looks incredibly young, even younger than Evangeline Lilly. And she's only 35.

Marvel is probably looking at younger actors if the rumors are true (re-casting the majors after IW).

Word, he does look incredibly young.

For some reason, in my head, I keep thinking of him of being in the mid 30s

But then I realize that would only put him about 6 years older than me, and the math wouldn't make sense because he was a full grown man when I was a little boy watching Friends.

He's 46? Damn. Had no idea. So I won't even consider him a young antman, he's old and michael douglas is old. Wonder if he'll have some gray hair soon or just dye it like will smith does.

Falcon is in Ant-man.

^ This further begs the question why they greenlighted the film in the first place.

Considering how poor the marketing has been + the behind-the-scenes trouble, maybe Marvel didn't want to kill this off because they sunk too much money into it?

Spiderman/Peter parker gotta appear in suit or what's the point I kind of feel we gonna be disappointed with his appearance in CW..
