WELCOME TO THE MARVEL MULTIVERSE -*RIP STAN LEE & Boseman* - Agatha All Along new ep every Wednesday

I think the BP film you want may dissapoint.
Im not expecting the biggest pro-black or pan-African film in the history of the world, but at the same time I don't expect it to be this happy go-lucky film. They will surely touch on the issues that common in Africa like exploitation of natural resources. Im pretty sure Marvel is going to have to find a perfect balance for this one.

Bout the only way I can comprehend what's happening with these Jurassic numbers is movie theaters bumped their prices up to 50 bucks a ticket, cuz this just doesn't make sense. :lol

I know maybe 8 people that have seen the movie, i knew even less that were excited or hopeful for the movie, and yet worldwide it is destroying. :{

I just don't understand.

dont think star wars will do that great at the box office due to the holiday season.

Think it's just something new - ish

We've been getting comic book movies nonstop since 08

FF movies come out every once in a while since 01

Last JW movie was in 2001 I think, and before that 97, before that 93

By this logic, SW is probably going to kill

If you had asked me a year ago if I thought that AoU was going to be the 4th best grossing movie of the year, I would've laughed. But it's looking like that's going to be the case.

In hindsight I think the announcement of the entire marvel slate kind of set AoU back. Couple of my homies still haven't seen it and are just gonna wait for The DVD

Spectre's going to be right there along with them in the billi family too.

What other movie is gonna top it? Star Wars, JW and what else?

Ok I see you and that's what I expect as well. I just really don't want to see this conversation come along when the time comes along on how Marvel didn't go real deep with it. I'm pretty much expecting to see a film mostly dealing with Vibranium and how foreigners coming in and stealing it. It may have a few parallels with real life situations kinda like Cap2 did, but that's about it.

Small Spoiler about Ant-Man.

“It factors in, in a number of spoiler-ish ways, but we will see Janet Van Dyne in action in this film. And part of sort of what happened to her. And then we will understand why that is the reason that he doesn’t want his daughter to follow in those footsteps. One of the reasons why he’s always so upset about superheroes in general, dismissive of them in general and also a reason why he doesn’t want her to put on the suit.

Because another very logical question in the movie is, why are you hiring this ex-con to put on your suit and do this? The answer is, because he has abilities in cracking security networks and in pulling off heists that nobody else has. Which is really why he needs to do it. But Hope is infinitely more capable of actually being a superhero in the beginning of this film, and we learn sort of that that’s ultimately when Hank reveals for the first time for the audience, and even the first time to Hope, what actually happened in the past and why he’s so nervous about putting on that suit. But there are things that we see towards the end of the film that indicate she could, she could get one of her own."

That spoiler could be put together by watching the trailers and reading the rumors. Just in case someone is on the fence about reading it, if you have been paying attention to both those things its more of a confirmation to you.

:lol

By ANY logic, SW is going to murk, everything. And that's if the movie isn't very good. Phantom Menace was all screwed up, and it's still top 5-7 all time.

If this is good, which it looks like it will be, it's going to move right on into top 3 range fairly easily. Winter break, holiday gift cards, no "big" openings thru Jan-Feb, Star Wars will cake all thru the Winter, pretty much until March hits. Gonna be silly numbers. :{

Exactly, I think marvel got the formula correct with Cap 2. Dealt with the whole security vs freedom angle without going too deep and not sacrifice the comic book action movie aspect. I think they will get it right with BP

Ugh, no Beyonce, please!

Charlize Theron

F the fact that she's almost 40, she'll be good to go for the next decade

Blunt's still my favorite though

Man oh man, Theron would be great, maybe it's just me but I just found he so damn gorgeous in A Million Way to Die in the West.

Actor Tom Holland has been cast as the next live-action Spider-Man.

Holland is a nineteen year old English actor, who was born in Kingston upon Thames, United Kingdom. He is best known for playing the lead role in Billy Elliot the Musical at the Victoria Place Theatre, London and for starring in the movie The Impossible. He also played Gregory Cromwell in the Wolf Hall TV mini-series.

Holland will become the third actor to play Spider-Man in a big budget motion picture, following in the footsteps of Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield. Maguire starred in the first three Spider-Man movies, while Garfield starred in the most recent two Amazing Spider-Man movies.

“Sony, Marvel, Kevin and I all knew that for Peter Parker, we had to find a vibrant, talented young actor capable of embodying one of the most well-known characters in the world" Sony Executive Amy Pascal told Marvel.com With Tom, we’ve found the perfect actor to bring Spider-Man’s story into the Marvel Cinematic Universe.”

In February of this year, Marvel and Sony Pictures announced that they had reached an agreement to work together on the cinematic future of Spider-Man. As part of the deal, the new Spider-Man will first appear in Captain America: Civil War, before starring in a solo Spider-Man movie to be released on July 28, 2017.
Interesting. Looking forward to his portrayal as Peter Parker and Spider-Man.
