Appreciate it!!! I'll give AoS another chance, but after watching Daredevil I seem to expect way more out of TV than I probably should.

right back at u broski! @alleyzonjay@lokid300s check your PMs bro!
AoS stands alone but references everything else in the MCU. The show itself, starts off slow, but picks up half way through season 1.

No doubt DD is far superior and the other netflix shows will most likely be too but those are really on their own and I don't expect them to reference as much as AoS when it comes to other stuff going on in the MCU. Other than the crossover when the other 3 shows get going, I'd say only until they'll officially crossover in to the movies is when you'll get that feel of a more directly connected shared universe.Appreciate it!!! My belief is that the head honchos at DCU will think of the Movies as one Earth, the TV movies as another Earth and such. From a cost perspective it keeps every actor in one simple line of payment, and should the opportunity arise have some crossovers to break our wallets or some monster marketing opportunities.I don't see the connection between what the Convergence comic event did and what DC might do with tv and movies that'd be on par to what Marvel is currently doing witht he Netflix quality and overall shared universe.
While I didn't read it the event, I do know what happened in the end and what it establishes and I know that on the tv/movie side Johns (or somebody else) has been saying they're establishing a DC cinematic multiverse to sort of explain why their multiple tv shows on the CW and other networks aren't even occurring in the same movie universe.
Agreed. The SHIELD connection will probably come from the INDEX, but usually Agents of Shield only connects to the movies 2 weeks before release and nothing after that. The real test will come when Inhumans comes out since that is the main plot of the TV Show.Other than her fight scene where she was taking out Hydra goons like she was every movie action hero rolled in to one? Nah not really.

Well yeah Johns mentioned the whole multiverse cinematic thing. That's not anything new. I don't see how that connects to the end of Convergence though. I mean all it really did was undo what Flashpoint and the New52 had done as a new status quo for their new multiverse. Now they're going back and saying all the past stuff and how it happened counts again.I don't see the connection between what the Convergence comic event did and what DC might do with tv and movies that'd be on par to what Marvel is currently doing witht he Netflix quality and overall shared universe.

I personally would've liked to see Amell, Gustin, Cassidy and the rest that are coming interact with Kal Drogo and his happy campers on a movie, but the cost of doing that would be huge (well for us. Warner might just burn their equivalent on a fishing trip).
Either way with both separate the potential for a Crisis event is there.

do you even think AoS will last that long? isnt Inhumans like in 2019?
Blame that on the writers of the show.I hate shane. I like The Punisher. I don't like him as The Punisher. Oh well.
Shane was acting like a vigilante in the walking dead..
I'll give AOS 5 seasons easily. It could really be on a long time seeing how it bridges with the MCU and based on how many storylines they could tell.
Basically.Shane was acting like a vigilante in the walking dead..
He lost his mind ever since he couldn't get in lori's weak yambs anymore.
