Statham isn't going to be starving, dude will definitely get a boost from Furious 7 and Spy (everyone is loving this film and many are enjoying his comedic side) so some of those offers will be coming in soon. And he doesn't have to be in a leading role, just be a part of it while also having some memorable screentime.
A Mechanic sequel is post-production now and despite the first one making very little money, studios plunked more money to it's sequel by hiring Jessica Alba and Tommy Lee Jones.
Dude is happy to just make millions in those films and come home to banging Rosie Huntington-Whiteley.

I like Statham. Dude has a horsehsoe bald pattern and still looks cool. I like traditional action movies like he does. I would trade some of the average comic book stuff that's releasing for some good quality action movies.

Just cuz he aint never reached that fulfledged action star status doesn't mean Statham is gonna fall off the map.
He'll still be in demand for those noirish Euro movies he use to do and will continue to do. More Expendables are coming. I'm sure he'll eventually hitch himself to another action thriller franchise.

The Rock, one of the biggest names in Hollywood, is coming out with a show. So Statham on DD isn't really out of the question.

Right after the Inhumans movie. They might debut in the Inhumans movie actually. If you look close at who is next to who it's pretty much telling us Old Man Logan and the new Wolverine will also show up in GotG3 cuz Star-Lord is in between them.You just can't see the hints Marvel is giving us.

Right around Infinity War Marvel and FOX will announce they've made a movie deal together to share Wolverine and more F4 characters in the MCU. It's all right there in the image if you just look between the characters.

if true.Then again it could just be another tactic these rumor sites use to cover up their lies when it's quickly and publicly exposed there were nothing to them to begin with. For them it's all about getting as many clicks as possible and making sure ppl come back so they're prop up when they right and drown out the times when they're wrong.
