Movie felt like a pay off to me.

Nothing, really. Thanos was a given from A1 because back in 2012 we expected him to appear as the villain in A2, but we got Ultron.
Outside of the Black Panther and the Thor stuff, what other set up was there?
Ultron's not dead. And I didn't expect Thanos. It would've been stupid of Marvel to introduce him so early.

Ultron was too much of a one-off villain. It wouldn't have been so hard to have one or two of his drones survive so he can menace the heroes some other time

But he was already introducedIt would've been stupid of Marvel to introduce him so early.
By introduce, I meant make him the villain of the next film.
But he was already introducedI'm pretty sure everyone I know expected him to be the villain of the sequel after seeing the A1 post-credits scene
Stane, Mickey Rourke dude, ole dude from IM3, Malekith, Ronan, Zemo and more maybe? Villains are being offed.
The fact that Ultron, Loki, and Red Skull are still running around somewhere makes me scratch my head. Marvel gotta start letting these guys off these villians, word to the OG Spider-Man trilogy.
Thanos will be more than enough for the Avengers, so I dont get why they're being left alive. I know, they can appear later down the line. But the MCU is large enough for them to start offing dudes.
Im just saying.
Yeah. I get my Nazi villains confused sometimes. You mean Von strucker?
Too ******* young
Opinions on if Asa Butterfield is cast as Spidey?
Only scenario I see if Hiddleston ends his tenure/contract as Loki is to sacrifice himself to save Thor from ThanosSince y'all put it that way. Loki, I agree needs to stay alive. Dude is like the Magneto in the Disney franchise, he plays both sides and is needed for the Thor story arch.
I see Loki fighting on the side to stop Thanos. Not sacrificing himself. We already saw that in Thor II. It's not going to have the same effect.
