WELCOME TO THE MARVEL MULTIVERSE -*RIP STAN LEE & Boseman* - Agatha All Along new ep every Wednesday

Caps probably the most worthy of the Hammer. Thors reaction was awesome :lol

Need a gif of that.

Nobody in the movie theatre "got" the scene where cap lifted the hammer just a tiny bit. They laughed when it nudged.
Swore I was the only one that realized the meaning of it in the entire crowd. The movie is definitely better if you're smarter, as you catch small things like that and you comprehend Ultron's dream of evolution better.

You were in the wrong theater lol. Felt like I was at a comic convention when I went to see it, where damn near everyone picked up the exact same hints and references that I did.

My theater audience on opening day was like a mini Comic Con - cosplay, Avengers tees, everything.

My theater audience on my repeat watch was full of old people and families.

They both reacted to every moment in the same way: in general, laughter with all the funny moments (Cap nudging the hammer, included), silence when Quick died, and applause and surprise when Vision lifted the hammer

When Tony was searching through new AI's when they were all doing their "suit up" phase (which was clearly an homage to the first Avengers) one of the AI's was named Jocasta before he eventually chose Friday...

Whedon wanted it to hint or imply that he could be going to space with that quinjet though.

“You know, I never intended to shoot him into space. What I wanted to do was indicate that he might. I wanted the sky above him to be slightly thinner. A few stars. Because, you know, I put in, very specifically, the line, ‘Where in the world am I not a threat?’ And I wanted to leave people with the idea that, if this is the last movie, that he may have left the world behind, because I think there is something enormously poetic about that. There is also something enormously misleading about that, because they don’t plan to make Planet Hulk, as far as I know, so they were like, ‘No, just sky, no stars,’ which was less poetic, but still very beautiful.”

Even with all the sappy family stuff this is the first time i actually felt hawkeye had importance

Still dont understand why they killed quicksilver off so quick

in the comics Hulk makes an appearance somewhere in space right? i heard that somewhere. thats why i said if he would end up there

I actually liked the Hawkeye family part. It was a reprieve that kind of showed that he was just an everyday dude. In a 2.5 hour movie you can have stuff like that without being upset about it.
If they follow the comics a bit more,

his entire family should get slaughtered in the next movie he's in by the bad guys
Um, Thor: Dark World is ridiculously awesome

Yeah. I just re-watched it and Winter Soldier yesterday, both were definitely improved sequels (Though the first films were also decent) Dark World in my opinion was better for the fact that it wasn't primarily set on Earth, and we got to see more of the Thor universe. Based on the title and the fact that he left at the end of Age of Ultron i'm assuming that Ragnarok will give us more of the same, again making it the film i'm looking forward to most right now.
I actually disliked Dark World even more because they went completely out of their way to bring it back to Earth. They got ******* 9 realms and still made it about Midgard. Not exploring Thor's universe much at all.

Plus they neutered Malekith.

Malekith is this goofy psychopath elf king in the comics and a power rangers villain in the Dark World with a generic "destroy the universe" plot. Yall need to read the recent Thor series (with the female Thor) if you think Malekith's character was done any kind of service in this movie. Matterfact EVERY Dark Elf in that damn movie looks like they came from Power Rangers

They went to the trouble of giving Asgardians lightsabers and X-Wing boats and introduced Elves with Klingon ships and phaser guns but still wanna focus on Natalie Portman and her goofy *** interns.

Dark World was trash :rollin

Speaking of the female Thor, have they revealed who it is yet?

Yeah she's Roz Solomon, a new environmental agent of SHIELD who Thor messed with once.

She appeared a year or two ago in the Thor God Of Thunder Series as a new SHIELD recruit

That's somewhat underwhelming.

Thanks for the info though.

not going lie, I enjoyed GOTG when I first saw it.. but I didn't realize how good it was

I've been watching GOTG quite a bit since it has recently come on cable.. also WS too, since it has been on cable for a couple months now

i'll watch scenes here and there if nothing else is on.. or check it out for a bit if I see it on

am I the only one who has GOTG rated over WS?

The biggest problem with GOTG is that it's this goofy *** space comedy that hardly fits into the tone of the rest of the MCU

Like I don't see Rocket Racoon having a conversation with Maria Hill

The biggest issue facing the MCU is that they need to pay closer attention to internal consistency

So were they not supposed to laugh? If people laughed then it seems like they understood what it meant. Surprised to see vision carrying it.
No, like they laughed at the nudge and his face but not like a "Oh, I get it laugh"..just a continuation of laughter from the previous scene.

It's hard to explain really, but you could tell the majority didn't pick up the reference. Thats what I get for going Sunday afternoon I guess

Word. I like Cap having a Bond/Bourne feel, IM and Avengers can be the blockbusters, Ant Man and GotG can not take themselves as seriously as the others.
