WELCOME TO THE MARVEL MULTIVERSE -*RIP STAN LEE & Boseman* - Up Next: Brave New World 02/14/25

Saw it yesterday. It was better than the first one but still left me with wanting something more. Some thoughts

- hulk/ Banner wasn't a big part of the movie. I kinda feel like him destroying that city would've been a perfect excuse for Planet hulk to happen but marvel isn't goNna do it

- I don't really like Vision. His entrance was too sudden and he got put in the team and fits in normally and it was just too fast for me. Also I was kinda put off by the make up. I would've preferred a CG face

- I still don't like Scarlett.

- Cap,Thor, Tony and hawkeye were great

- I wish they would've extrapolated more on the Thor visions.

- I liked Ultron and thought he was funny but he was a pretty am terrible villain. He never really posed much of a threat. If it even came down to it they would've just said screw Cap and destroyed the city to save the world.

He got is *** beat too much to be an effective villain

- the twins just didn't fit to me. Like I feel the movie wouldn't have lost much of they weren't in it. You could've had the staff itself give tony the vision and make him create Ultron. And find another way for Hulk to go rampaging.

-The story was kinda meh. It just devolved into the same as -avengers 1. Stop an invasion, defeat an army and save a city.

I'm not sure where they go from here in the next 4 years. Movie is a 7/10 for me. That's solid. Not great but not a waste of time

She had more lines because they were killing him off :lol
They had to develop the character they were actually gonna use

Through his vision or maybe prior knowledge of the gem stones since the infinity gauntlet is in his planet???? Not sure my guess.

But is thanos in asguard?

I'm sure he knows about it, but how does he know that the gem has popped up? He should only know about 3.
I'm sure a kree madman trying to destroy the planet made the Asgard morning news or something. That and stringer bell sees everything right?

Well Yea, you can argue that but sometimes ppl develop characters to make it sadder when he does get killed of..

Look at how many people in this thread thought Hawkeye was going to catch the fade lol

My sister thought that too :lol

Unfortunately, were stuck with him

I didnt think so because it would be a cheap blow to viewers.

Also did they ever say what strucker didn't want found in his computer
I remember he wanted to throw them off of something
Like he wasn't trippin off the other files but a particular file he DIDNT want found

Exactly! A friend of mine even pointed out that it could've been Banner's choice to get sent into space, in order to remove himself as a potential danger, or just have them need to launch him into space with Ultron at the end of the film. That way, you have Ultron still being out there with the chance of returning and can send Banner off towards Planet Hulk. The fact that they chose not to do this, when the actor himself has even expressed interest in doing a Planet Hulk film annoys the hell out of me.

Only other thing I wanted from the Thor visions was a shot of Loki sitting on Odin's throne.

I used to think that it wouldn't even be a fair fight but it looks like they gave Cap a power boost in AoU. Granted Ultron is probably weaker than Iron man but he really didn't have an answer for cap

How can anybody be on Tony's team after AoU? :lol

Cap vs Iron Man > Batman vs Superman

I just realized that's what next year will actually be :smokin

^^Marvel can't do a Planet Hulk movie even if they wanted to. Something about legal hang ups with Universal.

Spiderman and Black Panther are probably joining Tony's team by default given they're the only ones who aren't familiar with him.

War Machine is dude's best friend so he's going to change sides as well

Tony doesn't need anybody on his side when he can just dispatch his iron legion.

Tony had his mind messed with and created Ultron (Along with Bruce), but then also created the solution that he thought would enable them all to defeat Ultron (Also along with Bruce, which he and Cap fought over, but Tony and Bruce were still completely right about) Throw in that they all then had their minds messed with and can therefore relate to him on that matter, plus the fact that, as Ultron pointed out, they're all killers and not necessarily the best people in the world, I actually find it far more justifiable for people to follow him here than I did in the comics.
