WELCOME TO THE MARVEL MULTIVERSE -*RIP STAN LEE & Boseman* - Agatha All Along new ep every Wednesday

what do you mean creepy?

and it’s a strong 3rd but clearly behind the last 2.. and that’s if we’re not including civil war

but visions depth with every sentence is greatness.. but A1 was just a spectacle I don’t think any of us ever thought we would see or would be pulled off

Creepy as in dark and sinister meaning. Tony has a premonition of all the Avengers dead within the first 10 minutes for starters. Extinction level event and an Avenger riddled with bullet holes and staying dead aside, the movie was also the gateway into the MCU to stop being focused on realism and going full on comic book lore. Vision is the most comic book character of all time. Compare Avengers 1 to Avengers 2 and one feels like a well made film based off a comic book and the other feels like a comic book, period.

Nope. Infinity Wars is the best Avengers.

I remember when you were in here heartbroken, just crying. "OmGz THey kILlED sPiDeRzMAn WHY?!?!"

Lol you and I remember it very different. Infinity War is the worst Avengers film for that very reason. Their was no conviction in anything that was done and “killing” Spider-Man emphasized this. How the hell was anyone gonna buy Spider-Man dying or having the Avengers at a loss of what to do with Hulk and ******* Thor still alive. You kill most of the main Avengers and you leave something like Captain America, War Machine, Rocket Raccoon and Spider-Man to pick up the pieces, now you’ve got a jarring ending. But the typical audience goer needed something as corny as what we got. Unfortunately, I’m not the typical...

My top 7 in no order

Civil War
Ragnarok
Infinity War
IM 1
Winter Soldier
GotG 2
Black Panther

AoU is by far the closest we’ve ever gotten to page on screen.

I disagree because I don’t think they fully nailed ultron, who shoulda been a reoccurring villain because he’s ultron

ironman felt the most on the nose it’s why it launched the whole damn thing into this

AOU is rated where it needs to be. The worst execution in all fronts. Just terrible use of all assets

of the avengers movies

but IM3 is clearly the worst execution.. like how you go from THAT trailer to that garbage

Was that the beginning of the whole "subverting expectations" trend? I can't remember ever being so hyped by a trailer only to be let down before IM3. Hopefully, that nonsense ended with the last season of Game of Thrones:lol:

Yes, of the avengers movies. I’ll give that to CM by a wide margin too. She literally didn’t use her powers because she was insecure

after avengers 1 everyone thought the mcu was bullet proof. IM3 and then Thor 2 kicked that all back down to earth.

like in pieces AOU is still greatness.. everything vision is excellent

their are actions scenes that are great.. like hulk vs hulk buster is great

but they could have done a hell of a better job with the executio, passing and editing.. or blow the movie up into to 2 movies so things are properly done

Semi agree. If you throw out all logic (even comic book logic) the movie is fine. Once you really think about it none of the movie made too much sense. Think we’ve all been through those things enough to leave off a huge list but the fact that the ultimate living machine did nothing electronic other than send over money is hilarious. Instead he just punched and kicked. Also would of physically destroyed the whole planet ..... to take over the planet?

Iron Man 3 was my most hated, I don’t even hate Dark World that much because in retrospect it was pretty foundational for a lot of stuff that happened.

OG Iron Man is my favorite and Endgame after that. EG gave me exactly what I needed for a difficult time in my life, and I’m always gonna be thankful for that.

yea and the whole damn point of ultron is how damn annoying and reoccurring he is, which makes sense given his skill set

I’m willing to accept that complete half assed ending if they wen about it differently.....but Ultrons entire endgame was just nonsense.

IM3 was fine up until the final 30mins. That reveal was the beginning of the end

looking back on it, the problem was for IM2, IM3 and AOU should kinda have been 1 movie in a sense

should have just been the 4 movies leading in avengers

then you have Tony drinking, going through the poisoning and PTSD after the 1st avengers.. so you set up Tony building the crappy suits and also lay the groundwork for him making ultron.. and then you throw in Justin hammer coming after him as Tony is clearly falling apart plus hydra seeing an opportunity

then that leads into IM3 which is ultron, just like how CW was a captain America movie.. but dominoes are set up from IM2

I’m willing to give everything pre A1 a perma pass. They really didn’t know if it was going to work or not. IM3 had no excuses
